Honest to god. Not sure where I got it from. Maybe it’s my super controlling side for perfection with anything pretty from my mother’s side. Combined with the need to do things so properly from my dad. My parents were two immigrants, so they didn’t understand how birthdays are celebrated in the states. So in party planning though they had no interest.
Little miss party planner
When I was a kid, my parents used to get these invitations from the corner drugstore. I would fill them out for my own birthday party. I remember I started handling my guest list at 8 years old. I would plan the entire thing down to stuffing my own goodie bags.
At least now someone appreciates
Since nobody did that for me, this is why make such an effort to do it for my own kids. Always included is doing special invitation. So I want to show you how I incorporated a shooting on location, with brand and then finally using Canva to make a super fun invitation for my daughter’s 10th birthday.
