MOM 101
Being a mom is a full-time job in itself. However, add school involvement to the mix, and the stress can be overwhelming. As a mom, you want the best for your kids, and you want to be actively involved in their education. However, the expectations and judgment can be too much at times.
LUNCHBOX BLUES
One of the biggest stressors is providing a healthy lunch for your child at school. I know we want to give them a nutritious meal. Just it’s not always easy to convince your kids to eat the healthy options. And when other parents judge you for not providing a perfect lunch, it can be frustrating.
COSTUME TIME
Another source of stress is school events that require random costumes. Your child may complain that they don’t like their costume. As a mom, you want to make sure they have fun and participate in the event. However, no one is grateful to mom for finding the time and money to create a costume. It’s especially overwhelming, when your child’s preferences don’t align with your ideas.
HOMEWORK PROJECTS
Lastly, homework projects can be a nightmare for moms. It’s challenging to strike the balance between helping your child and letting them do the work themselves. Then when you see other parents’ projects that look like they were professionally done. It makes me feel like I don’t do enough for my child.
HERE FOR YOU
As a mom, it’s important to remember that we all struggle with these issues. We are doing the best we can to provide for our children and be involved in their education. Let’s support each other and share our experiences to alleviate the stress and pressure we feel. We are all in this together.
