I’ve got some exciting news to share with you today. Me and the kids recently took our first trip back to Shanghai after a long wait of three years. Can you believe it? Our visa got reinstated, and we couldn’t wait to dive back into the vibrant city we once called home.

Let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster of emotions as we landed on Chinese soil. The bustling streets, the shopping, and the scent of food wafting through the air—it was like coming back to a long-lost paradise. Shanghai, oh how we missed you!

And speaking of food, let me just say, our taste buds were in for a treat! From xiaolongbao to baozi, we indulged in every culinary delight the city had to offer. The kids couldn’t get enough of the mouthwatering snacks, and I must confess, I shamelessly joined them in devouring those delicious treats. Calories don’t count during vacation, right?
Friends forever
But the best part of our trip was reuniting with old friends. We spent hours catching up, reminiscing about the good old days, and creating new memories together. Shanghai’s true beauty lies not only in its stunning skyline but also in the incredible people who call it home.
