taking a chance

Auditions

I want to talk about something that has been both exhilarating and nerve-wracking in my journey as a momager. Auditions, self-tapes, and the whole process of getting my children involved in modeling and acting. Let me tell you, it’s tough on me, and sometimes even harder for my little kids.

facing rejection

As a parent, it’s hard to watch your child go through the audition process. The pressure, the anticipation… it’s enough to give anyone a dose of anxiety. It takes immense guts and drive for our children to put themselves out there, to face rejection and keep going. And it’s a valuable life lesson in resilience that will serve them well in the long run.

reward is great

Sure, there are moments when the anxiety creeps in, both for me and my kids. Will they be selected? Will they make the cut? But without going through this process, without facing the challenges head-on, the sweet taste of success wouldn’t be as rewarding. It’s a reminder that in life, we often have to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones to achieve our dreams.

a life lesson

It’s not always easy, but witnessing the growth and resilience that comes from this journey makes it all worthwhile. At the end of the day, let’s embrace the auditions, the self-tapes, and the ups and downs that come with it. It’s a valuable opportunity for our children to learn about perseverance, dedication, and the importance of staying true to themselves. We can be proud knowing that we’ve also played a part in nurturing their resilience and shaping their future.
